Qingdao Haier Carrier Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd. was jointly funded by Haier Group and Carrier Corporation of the United States in 2001. After more than a decade of development, it has now become a factory. Products include supermarket display cabinets (over 1,000 specifications), compressor units (scroll, piston, screw), and heat exchangers (air-cooled condensers and cold air units), capable of providing customers with overall solutions for refrigeration and cold storage. Relying on the support of Carrier Refrigeration's two major R&D centers located in Mainz, Germany, and Shanghai, China, and possessing a laboratory recognized by the national authorities, Haier Carrier's products and system technologies are also world-class, dedicated to providing advanced energy-saving systems, including carbon dioxide systems, to customers in the Asia-Pacific region. Over the past decade, leveraging the strong resources of the parent company, Haier Carrier has built a factory that has ISO9001 certification and United Technologies (Carrier's parent company) ACE certification.
Strong R&D capabilities have allowed us to possess integrated refrigeration and cold storage solutions such as D2D hot gas defrosting (national patent), Ground Water (special ground source heat pump technology for refrigeration and cold storage), HybridCO2OL (carbon dioxide cascade refrigeration technology), and CO2OLtec (carbon dioxide transcritical refrigeration technology).
